The MAAC utilizes Martial Arts and Athletics to instill discipline, respect and self-control in our students. Through learning Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and Fitness, MAAC students learn the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles choices. It is our goal to help kids reach their highest potential personally, academically and athletically.

The MAAC afterschool program picks up at both 1:00 and 3:00 at area schools. Kids have time to eat snacks (not provided) and do homework or play games and learn Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and Fitness all before picking them up by 6:00pm.
The MAAC’s Samurai Summer Program is 7:30am to 6:00pm Mon. through Fri. Activities, games, arts and crafts, guest speakers, field trips, sports, and martial arts will keep your kids active, healthy and happy!
This program will help instill character qualities in your children such as discipline, honesty, integrity, respect, and self-control. They will enjoy learning the traditional Korean style martial art of Tae Kwon Do which encompasses forms, self-defenses, tenets, and sparring techniques. The MAAC offers amateur competitive boxing training to Amarillo’s youth. Coach Leon Aragon trains children ages 6 to 13. Boxing is a great way for kids to learn physical fitness, sportsmanship and self-discipline in an athletic and motivational environment.
Child Care Fitness – The MAAC strives to instill the importance of health and fitness in our students. While exercising, kids also learn to make healthy food choices for a healthy lifestyle. Fast paced, loud and energetic, our Children’s Fitness class makes Fitness Fun!!!
The MAAC teaches the traditional martial art of Tae Kwon Do. As children progress, they will belt test in order to rank up in the Sport. Belt testing is an important and valuable aspect of Tae Kwon Do. A child can move through the ranks from white belt to black belt at the MAAC and parents can be assured of theirs children’s skills, knowledge and dedication.
To those of you who are just beginning Tae Kwon Do, neither fear your new found practice or expect too much from it. The majority of beginners experience a feeling of inadequacy to perform the movements involved. If you feel this way, Don't worry, it is common and it is short lived. No one expects you to do more than your best. If you expect too much in the beginning you will disappoint yourself. Every beginner must remember, the true winner is the one who never gives up! Who has the best tequnique? The student who has a burning desire and does their best. Who is the best student? The onw who never gives up and has a positive attitude!
